Group B :

Pay Scale Rs.9,300 – Rs.34,800

·     Assistant : For Ministry, Department or Office of - Central Secretariat Service (CSS), Central Vigilance Commission, Intelligence Bureau, Ministry of Railways,
·         Inspector: For CBDT, CBEC, CBI, Directorate of Enforcement, Department of Revenue, Department of Post and Central Bureau of Narcotics
·         Divisional Accountant: For Offices under CAG
Statistical Investigator Group II: For Ministry of Statistics and Program    Implementation.

Group C :

Pay Scale Rs.5,200 to Rs.20,200

·         Auditor: Offices under C & AG, CGDA, CGA and others
·         Accountant / Junior Accountant / Upper division Clerk: Offices under C & AG, CGA and others, Central Govt. Offices and Ministries
·         Tax Assistant: CBDT, CBEC
·         Compiler: Registrar General of India
Sub Inspector: Central Bureau of Narcotics.

To get your posting you have to clear the three tier exams. Tier I and II are written exams whereas Tier III is an interview round with Computer proficiency tests. Certain posts require an additional skills set.

This Exam is a three tier exam, where Tier 1 exam is attempted by all the candidates. This 200 marks exam needs to be completed in 2 hours. 

The Tier I exam is made up of four sections each carrying 50 questions worth 50 marks. These exams are conducted in English and Hindi. The sections that you need to master are General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude and English Comprehension.

General Intelligence and Reasoning: 

This section includes topics like decision making, visual memory, discrimination, direction sense test, blood relations, Input-Output questions, seating arrangement, questions based on dies, clock, Space Visualization, Venn Diagrams, etc.

General Awareness: 

This section includes questions on Current events, India and its neighboring countries, History, Geography, Economic Scene, Culture, General Policy & Scientific Research are asked. Quantitative Aptitude:
